Algavest

"Algavest" About: This project is a speculative design. It is a response to the health issues connected to growing C02 level in the atmosphere as well as to the pollution within the cities. It is said that algae are responsible for more than 70% of the oxygen in the atmosphere (Ecology Global Network, 2019). Inspired by biophilia, I am looking into the ways of how to incorporate nature into wearable pieces. How it works: The vest is meant to produce the oxygen for the wearer while digesting the exhaled CO2. While the vest will have enough algae density, it can be poured out strained, the caught bioculture can be added to the meals as it has a high dosage of vitamins.
