Andrea Maresca unlocks childhood memories through musical reconnection

This is a short film I produced featuring 22-year-old pianist Andrea Maresca, who began playing at just five years old. The piano was an integral part of Andrea’s childhood. She was a child prodigy of sorts, as her talent has took her on tour and placed her in front of large crowds. However, during her teenage years she stopped playing. Returning to her roots after ten years, she explains what reconnection means and how the global pandemic drew her closer to the piano. Andrea plays Chopin Waltz Op.64 No.2 composed by Frédéric Chopin. This video released in September 2020.
