Antony Crook’s work has been described as “gentle, filled with a quiet sense of stillness. It’s the kind of quietness that breathes a sense of wonderment and mystery.” Antony began his career as a photographer. An urge to create and an inability to draw led him to photography at an early age, which he went on to study in Edinburgh.
Antony’s photographic work is part of numerous public and private collections and he has worked with commercial and editorial clients including Nike, Orange, Microsoft,
British Vogue, Interview, the New York Times and i-D amongst others.
Through these projects Antony has been able to work with some of the world’s most iconic figures in music, art and fashion. In 2010, Antony co-founded the Rig Out, a side project for which he serves as co-founder and creative director.
Antony made his first film in 2010 which he said, “felt like someone had turned on a light switch.” The next year he was signed to RSA Films. His natural transition into moving image has seen him direct films for the likes of Rapha, Adidas, Clarks, Wells Fargo, and AOL amongst others.
He continues his prolific run of photography and film projects whilst also developing his first feature film project.
Antony was born and raised in Bolton, England and splits his time between New York and London.
Antony is now represented by "RSA Photographic" for all photography work.
