Archbuild was a result of experiments with Contemporary Architecture and Typography. Unlike the traditional way of changing weights the approach used was inspired from the building process where first the floor plates are placed and then the building is constructed on top.

The type has been treated more like an architectural structure then a typeface. The structures look like a building or a house instead of looking like a typeface.
