ART CARTS

Working with young people at Woodlands Education Centre, this five week project was students design and build a cart that not only moved, but also produced a large-scale work of art in the style of a famous artist as it moved! Investigating and analysing an artist and their work, we explored the key features, colours, shapes, styles and techniques that make their art so iconic. From here, it was the students mission to create their very own ‘art cart’ – a unique invention that paid homage to the artist and allowed us to make our very own interpretation of the artists work.
