This is the story of a Google Sprint done in Barcellona for a local Startup

I did this project during a 5 day Google Sprint in Barcellona working with a local startup. Their product was a sales forecasting platform, their target were middle small shops in Barcellona and they wanted us to automatise the information collection they needed to do to be able to forecast in the right way.
Here a sum up of the research phase and of the output.
First of all we tried to understand better the problem and we defined a script to interview the client
Then we struntured and faciliteted a Card Sorting exercise for the client to cluster problems and align the outcome expactations
We did a good ammount of interviews during the field research phase, aproximatly 10 interview in 1 day.
Since many shopkeeper didn't understood english we prepared some draws and spanish text to communicate with them in a more effective way, it was a great success so we used this technique both for the field research and for the idea validation
We then analysed all the data collected and selected the main insights and the main need of the final customer.
We found out that the product was too technological for the most of the shopkeeper. The target didn't understood the platform. So we decided to focus on a more sensible problem of the target, the delivery platforms, and we tried to use the solution to this problem as a way to get automatically more information about sales, so to make easier the sales prediction.
Here me and my team into the ideation process
Then we proceded creating some deliverable to make our client better understand the customer and our solution proposal

Then of course we also designed an interactive prototype showing what the shop keep wouold have seen
