Big Chomps is a chill spot/cafe which attracts those who want to grab a quick coffee or as well indulge in Nigerian cuisines. The cafe welcome's everyone from all backgrounds who are open to experiencing new cultures. This was achieved by creating a modern and visually fun logo.
The logo was inspired by the snack 'chin chin' (a popular snack amongst west African cultures). The letter C denotes the opening of a mouth in an abstract manner while the 'b' communicates a birds eye view of a tea cup.
The logo is repeated throughout the cafe's furnishings.
The takeaway coffee cup continues to make use of the 'chin chin' shaped object. In this illustration it was important to enlarge the shape to create a 'chunky' appearance which in turn puts emphasis on the name 'big chomp' and further appeals to the brand.
