I covered the Black Lives Matters protest in central London as a freelance stills photographer. It was an exceptionally dynamic and passionate event, which demanded news photography that showed the protesters' depth of feeling. I filed to multiple agencies and newsrooms directly from the field, editing batches on my iPad between locations - meaning I could cover a lot more action that would have been possible if I'd been carrying heavier kit. My work has been used by Vice magazine to illustrate a story about ongoing tensions between the police and protesters.
