Blisters: Way Back When (2019)

Print Club London are renowned for their annual show 'Blisters'. Which brings in over 3000 people through the doors on the opening night! Blisters is a fully-screen printed poster show, housing 50 artists emerging talent and well known artists such as; Pure Evil, Anthony Burrill and many more! Each limited edition piece of art are only of an edition of 50 and each sold at £50 a pop! Each year's show follows a different theme, 'Blisters: Way Back When' was based on looking back and remembering the past! Artists were asked to respond to the brief by taking a nostalgic look back on a favourite personal memory, a historical moment or a time in which they wish they'd been there. As Gallery Curator and Project Manager, I lead this project along with an amazing team. Curating the line-up of amazing artworks, producing promotional materials, liaising with sponsors, working to a budget and event planning. This year's show was sponsored by GF Smith, Beck's Beer, Dalston's Soda Co., Screen Colour Systems, Castle Gibson, Ruby's Dalston and Soffles Here's imagery of the opening night!
