Chromakane – An Introduction

Est 2020. Chromakane is Jessie Cohen, a visual artist whose ambition—in a world where cultures are constantly shifting and identities being redefined—is to make art as a vehicle for self-expression and a way of life. As a multicultural artist, she realises the value of keeping an open mind to cultural diversity, and how this can allow for richer, fuller and more creative life experiences. Chromakane supports creative therapy and mental health awareness through her projects, notably as an ambassador of UK-based organisation Art Is The Cure CIC. As a conscious artist and designer, Chromakane also chooses to support independent businesses through her practice, and she challenges fast consumerism by choosing upcycled, ethically sourced and non-toxic processes. Represented by artrepublic, Rise Art and The Artling. Partnered with Canopy Market, Crafty Fox Market, Deptford Does Art, East End Prints, Fy!, Grafik, Not On The High Street, Posterlounge, Truman Markets and Urban Makers.
