COFFEE

Having recently been commissioned for a biscuit based job together, I collaborated with Food stylist Lola Faura again for these beautiful coffee images to pair nicely with the biscuit shots! I've always used a combination of both food and still life photography, that utilises technical lighting skills to create a contemporary space for food. I feel it elevates the products against a simply propped set, whilst retaining attention to detail within the texture and form of the drinks, showing my initial dedication to still life imagery, before combining food. With such a stripped back set, these images really hero the drinks, the lighting and Lola’s attention to detail when placing the perfect chocolate curl to really stand out.
