Colour Charting

  • LUKE GREAVES
In a culture where gender neutral is becoming a more common coined term, as fashion trends become more gender fluid I decided to reflect this in a editorial piece. By reducing the colour of magazines spreads in men’s and women’s magazines the colour given to men and women is revealed in a colour chart. I then created an editorial piece with the colours from women’s magazines for a male editorial, in the backdrop and the clothes. Having close cropped images I wanted the images to subtly question why these colours are prescribed.
