Come Make With Me

A series of creative jamming sessions where adults came to make jewellery with me. Sessions took place in a 1-1 setting, or in pairs. Participants left with a piece of jewellery they designed and made. Techniques taught in each session varied, depending on what they wanted to make. The most basic skills like piercing and soldering were covered, and sustainable and ethical alternatives to traditional jewellery making were presented. The hope is that these sessions fostered a deeper appreciation for craftsmen and their crafts, as well as start conversations about ethics in jewellery, something we often turn a blind eye to.
