Cooking with Colour - Book Design

Hardcover coptic bound book with hand-cut tabs, 297 by 155 mm, 64 pages My aim in creating this publication was to design a cookbook that would encourage environmentally-friendly food choices. After learning that eating a plant-based diet is the biggest way that you can reduce your carbon footprint, I chose to focus on veganism. The book is chromatically organised based on the colour of the main fruit or vegetable ingredient in each recipe, celebrating the beauty and diversity of a plant-based diet. Seasonality information has also been included to further help the reader to make low-carbon choices.
