A short film about the Crobar - one of Soho's most beloved rock bars which was forced to close it's doors in 2020 thanks to the outbreak of Covid-19. Myself and a small team set about interviewing the owner of the bar, shooting within the empty premises and interviewing revellers on the streets of Soho before the second national lockdown. I came up with the concept, planning, production, post production, marketing and promotion. We ended up raising 70k for the bar, meaning that it can open in a venue in the coming years! We were also received well in the press from titles such as NME, Kerrang, Time Out, Music Venue Trust, The Evening Standard and we were even featured in a spot on ITV London. The overall response from former customers was positive, with many commenting that it brought back a lot of fond memories for them and reminded them how much the bar meant to them.
