Cycling project in Uganda - Entebbe

  • Sophie Mutton

I was given the opportunity to run a charity project in Uganda. The plan is to develop a large plot into a cycling hub to help put Uganda on the map for hosting some of the best cyclists in the world. The Site will consist of Uganda's first, Olympic sized velodrome, a Cafe, bike trails, pump tracks, a bike shop and accommodation. I have produced a site plan, visuals and perspective drawings for the client to give to the sponsors to advertise the project and vision for the site. They are being sponsored by well known cycling brands and these visuals help to aid the fundraising further.

The materials proposed are prodiminantly shipping containers. This is to be a sustainable, durable proposal and will accomodate the changing climate of Uganda.
