Czech Underground

Czech Underground is a handmade book about Czech artists who perform their work against the political system. The book is divided by timeline, from World War II and Communism era to present time. Book itself is hand-stitched and layout is designed in the style of old textbooks. Typography and layouts are inspired by police files and blackening of secret information. The main reason for that was a fact that all of the artists were persecuted or held in jail for their stance and artwork.
