We were asked to undertake the creative direction for the The Five Years 1969-1973 CD and LP box sets, plus all merchandise and global marketing assets. The sets include faithfully reproduced CD mini-vinyls/LP versions of six original studio and two live albums, as well as the brand new Re: Call 1 compilation and a rare mix of The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, all CDS are pressed on gold CDs. The accompanying book features technical notes about each album from the producers Tony Visconti and Ken Scott, an original press review for each album and a short foreword by Ray Davies of the Kinks.
Five Years 1969-1973 Includes:
• Newly-remastered versions of David Bowie (AKA Space Oddity), The Man Who Sold The World, Hunky Dory and Pin Ups, along with The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, Aladdin Sane, Live Santa Monica ’72 and Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture Soundtrack.
• Re:Call 1 [Exclusive to the [Five Years] box] - A new 2 disc compilation of non-album singles & b-sides including previously unreleased mono single edit of ‘All The Madmen’ and the highly sought after ‘Holy Holy’ original single whichhas been unavailable since release in 1971
• Ken Scott’s 2003 mix of The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars [previously only available with the Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Vinyl version of the album]
