I'm the founder of TULASI, a luxury womenswear label that specialises in digital fashion. I create garments that exist in real life to wear and twin them so they exist in virtual environments. My work is inspired by my Kenyan-Gujarati heritage and the idea of what it means to be "British", especially after the riots and attacks against South Asian communities this year. My most recent collection entitled "Father's Trade" is inspired by my father’s heritage, emerging as geographic details, through the garments he and my mother sold in their retail store in the 80s.
