Hi Dazed! I'm Karen Stanley a London based photographer, and I'm nominating myself for the Dazed 100 list. Through my lens, I aim to capture the evolving narratives of identity and self expression in today's youth culture. My work sits at the intersection of fashion and social commentary, using style and imagery to explore themes such as gender fluidity, digital identity, and the cultural blending that defines the new generation. I'm drawn to capturing queer stories that often remain unseen, through storytelling and bold imagery. Using a combination of analogue and digital methods, I create textured and vibrant collages which feel tactile and hand crafted. My aim is to further push my photography into fashion, having just shot my first editorial work, by pushing the limits with texture, creativity and graphics.
