A temporary installation spatially linking Tate Britain and Chelsea College of Arts. This is a project by BA(Hons) Interior and Spatial Design students where I was part of the 'Design Team' to develop design ideas and construct the final structure. We adopted the building techniques and skills used by the traditional craftsmen of the Japanese paper festival float, Nebuta, in Aomori; one of our advisors was Mr Takashi Kitamura, a professional Nebuta artist.
