I founded Draw It Out. in September 2017. It is an initiative which aims to highlight the integral relationship between creativity, mental health and personal wellbeing. Through a series of activities, covering a broad range of creative processes, the project aims to use creativity as an outlet for stress, anxiety and worry. The workshop orientated programme offers a support network by providing a safe, open environment where people can be creative, share ideas and begin conversations and connections without fear of judgment - offering reassurance that regardless of individual circumstance, they are not alone. Although the concept of utilising a creative process as a therapeutic means is not new, Draw It Out. aims to push this technique further, making it more accessible to a wider rage of audiences, regardless of age, background or personal circumstance.
