Entrepreneur, presenter, and motivational speaker Bejay Mulenga believes that the cultivation of self-discipline is an integral part of the creative process. He hired me to take a Google Doc of his learnings and bring them to life in the form of an ebook aimed at creative minds. The ebook page layout was designed to echo the mindset required on how to bridge the gap between dreams and reality by taking consistent action for 30 days. To fulfil the brief, I researched his target audience, their pain points, and his brand values. This helped me transmute his words into a visual experience. It expanded from a traditional ebook format to a workbook that could be filled out on mobile devices using apps like goodnotes as well as more traditional PDF readers. The end product was an engaging, easy-to-read guidebook with simple prompts to fill out each day, created in Adobe InDesign.
