I am currently working on my Final Major Project, I am being inspired by the natural elements and using my own understanding and experience with them to inspire my work. Using primarily the embroidery technique Whitework, I am combinding this with unconventional materials such as plastics to create new and interesting textiles.
Below are some work in progress shots of sampling I have done towards my project, I am using mostly a monochrome colour pallet to expose texture in my work. By using a lot of experimentation in my work, I am working towards a constantly changing and growing collection.
