[Exhibition Design / Motion Graphic] Shigeo Fukuda "World of Illusion" Exhibition
Shigeo Fukuda was an influential Japanese graphic artist, who was famous for creating mind-bending optical illusion arts that addresses his advocacy of antiwar and environmental topics. In this project, I had the chance to reintroduce his artwork to the public through the fictional exhibition " World of Illusion" that the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg had offered to collaborate with.
In addition to the posters, I have created a scroll website that serves as a supplementary guide to accompany the exhibition. Since the exhibition mainly showcases the artworks that are plain 2D images, I decided to transform them into 2D animations with my own interpretation.The an- imations will gradually evolve while scrolling down the website.
