Exodus, is a piece about brotherhood. An inner monologue about how it feels to venture in a world full of judgement, pressure and self doubt through the gaze of the unknowing. Both swimming and drowning, in a pool of power and fear. Exodus, is a piece about brotherhood. An inner monologue about how it feels to venture in a world full of judgement, pressure and self doubt through the gaze of the unknowing. Both swimming and drowning, in a pool of power and fear. 3 young black boys navigating their way through life, having to lean on each other to survive the threat they give off through appearance. This piece shows the struggles they face, the hardships of their upbringing and how the bond of each others presences, has kept them in line to bettering their bright path ahead. This mesmerising piece, shows brotherly love and affection, trust and powerful cultural bonds, whilst playing the truth of the difficult life experiences that has crossed them and how that has affected the shift in the frequency of their journey. The concept is movement led, accompanied with spoken word and story telling narration.
