Final Project before graduation
“Sabah” is a self-directed project and also my final project of the year in the university. I decided to introduce my hometown to people who do not know Sabah with a collection of photography and illustrations. The magazine will explain the history of Malaysia and Sabah and also will describe the people and the culture difference between east and west Malaysian. I have also created a hand-drawn collection of my experience studying abroad in the UK. I started my collection as part of the summer assignment since last summer which is 2019 and now it is part of my final project with the “Sabah” magazine. The reason behind was to share funny stories, culture shocks and experience of my life living in a place which I am not familiar with.
The screen printed illustrations are also part of my submission. As a Malaysian who came from the Borneo Island, I definitely would love to introduce the animals and rare plants to the public.
