For Future Reference. A dissertation Publication

  • Emma Barraclough
‘For Future Reference’ is an A3 sized publication featuring two dissertations from Falmouth Graphic Design graduates. This journal is the outcome from my intensive 12 week Typography module, which specifically focused on content, readability, language and structure within design.
All design decisions were conciously made based on layouts, colours, type faces and even paragraph styles.

The name of the publication emphasises this may be a document one may wish to look back on, therefore each page is cornered with a perforated fold, allowing readers to save the page they find interesting, that they may need to come back too for future reference. The front cover design was inspired by this. The diagonal spotted lines represent the folds.
