Frightful Productions

Production HAKS officially formed as a company as a result of our dissertation, in which each member of the team was required to complete two specialisms. 'Frightful Productions', a mockumentary inspired by shows such as 'The Office (US)' and 'Parks and Recreation', was the project under which I completed the specialism of producing. My responsibilities included working collaboratively with the Director, Katie Henwood, on the script, props, costume, location and casting to help facilitate her vision. I was also responsible for social media management, release forms, location release forms, stripboards, scheduling, location and equipment bookings, catering and risk assessments. The Production HAKS team completed the project under a bubble, working to the rule of 6 whilst on set, resulting in myself also being included in the project as an actor. It was during pre-production stages for this project where I realised crowdfunding was essential for us to carry out our projects. The film was completed with a £500 budget. I am thrilled to say I received a first in our dissertation projects, overall!
