Last April (2017) I have spent two weeks in the south of Brazil. As being a photographer and traveling to such a place you must be excited to take stunning images of the country rich landscapes. Even though the south might be seen as a prosperous area of the country, there is still much contrast between social realities endured by people that need to be addressed. o offer.
I have decided to work on a photographic project called From a car window.
From a car window shows the reality of those beautiful landscapes inhabited by people, giving emphasis on the everyday life of a population living in the darkest days of a political upheaval in the country. All the photos, even though showing the harsh realities some people encounter themselves in, are backgrounded by majestic and some of the most incredible untouched nature scenes the world has to offer.
The project aims to remove the blinders that we are wearing and give a sense of our surroundings.
