FRUITIES

My collection ‘Fruities’ is inspired by fruit and Japanese sweets and treats. The designs in this collection feature bold, graphic shapes alongside textures created by painting with the fruit and sweets. The colour palette and design work is influenced by FRUiTS magazine and the 90s Japanese street fashion subculture trend Harajuku. Processes used in this project include screen-printing and digital design, with elements of manipulation. This playful and graphic collection has been designed for commercial fashion.
