Grace
'Grace' (2021) is a single and multi-channel film commissioned by The RNLI Grace Darling Museum, Arts & Heritage, and Arts Council England. Created in a game engine it tells the story of Grace Darling, one of the greatest female celebrities of the Victorian era. The film was installed at the museum in September - October 2021 and viewed by over 10,000 visitors. It has been featured in the Guardian Observer, presented at the International Electronic Visualisation & the Arts conference, and selected for the London Open City Documentary Film Festival. Images above show show stills from the film. The project included digitising objects from the museum's collection to include in the virtual environment. The remaining environments and assets were hand modelled.
