Bucheon Hana One Q Women's Basketball Team (owner Lee Seung-yeol) officially announced in a press release on the 12th that it has signed an FA contract with center Jinan, who played at BNK until last season, for a four-year contract period of 360 million won (300 million won per year and 60 million won per year).
Jinan, who was selected as the second overall pick in the first round (2nd overall pick) in the 2016 WKBL New Player Selection, played for BNK until last season after making his professional debut at KDB Life Insurance.
From the 2018-2019 season, he became a key player, contributing greatly to BNK's first playoff entry in the 2021-2022 season and BNK's first championship match in the 2022-2023 season.
In the 2023-2024 season, WKBL contribution also achieved the second place overall and career high record, showing the best performance.
Jinan, who signed a new contract with Hana OneQ, said, "First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the BNK club, team members, and fans who enabled me to grow. I thought a lot about it after I got the second FA qualification. It is not easy to get out of familiarity and take on a new challenge, but I wanted to learn basketball in a new place and grow further, so I chose to move. I am looking forward to a new challenge at Hana OneQ, and I will become a player who will definitely contribute to the team."
Hana OneQ, which already succeeded in signing three internal FA members (Yang In-young, Kim Si-on, and Kim Dan-ah), was evaluated to have succeeded in strengthening under the basket by recruiting Jinan and building a power that is one step up from last season.
