Hawes and Curtis are a Jermyn Street shirtmaker with over a hundred years of history. With two main competitors boasting extensive product ranges, widespread brand awareness and large budgets, the H&C Autumn 2018 campaign had to stand out from the crowd without breaking the bank. I pitched ‘Engineered for Performance’ as a concept that would do exactly that; position the brand as aspirational, design innovators. Shot in a disused water pumping station, the location was the unicorn that brought the campaign to life, and inspired the industrial window displays that were rolled out across their 22 retail locations across the UK and Europe.
