My interest in business management started at a young age as I spent time with my Granddad who owned and ran a chain of hairdressing salons. His success was inspiring to me and continues to be so to this day. Seeing his business thrive inspired me to start my own venture, so when I was 16 I started organizing parties, building up enough capital to approach London venues about regular nights. They agreed to host under my management High-Frequency Presents: Lord of The Mic's III night, which became one of the most successful 16+ nights in London. I got to work with some of the most influential UK artists to date. Making the transition from smaller parties to a major venue was an invaluable experience, and enabled me to become a keen trouble-shooter and negotiator.
