Homelessness in London

  • Anya Lawrence-Craig

A very special project I worked on with British Journal of Photography and CALM shares the first-hand experiences of five people who have or who currently are experiencing homelessness in London. Words and interviews by myself, photographs jointly by Inzajeano Latif and each one of the project’s five participants - Curtis, Wayne, Dee, Saffron and Kerry. Each of the project's participants were given a Polaroid camera and tasked with documenting glimpses of their life. Here, an image by Curtis.

The five projects were published on British Journal of Photography as part of a collaboration between creative agency Studio 1854 and mental health charity Campaign Against Living Miserably.
