“I Exist Where You Stand” A Multimedia Installation. Powered by @Zawraq.Collective The installation is meant to be a visualization of what it’s like to confront your own perception. It welcomes the viewer to watch an experimental short that’s covered by concrete. Putting you in a position where you could either accept what’s in front of you or agonize over the missing pieces . Additionally, IEWYS investigates the harrowing currents of isolation, social detachment, and numbness that punctuate people’s lives when they are forcibly cut off from the world for extended periods of time. Ram Dass once said that : “The journey across the great ocean of existence is a journey inward- ever deeper and deeper and the deeper you get in the more you meet the truth” and the installation is a reiteration of that.
