Ikea project

My first-year project was a collaboration with Ikea by using waste fabric that Ikea has given to the university to create shirts. We were given different brands to create a design based on the brand's style I was assigned COS. My inspiration for this project was Japan from their architecture to the accessories which influence my design to create a minimalistic design. Additionally, I included different words such as strong, powerful, which was the women I envisioned. I had translated the words to Japanese and became apart of the garment by using digital embroidery. By creating the garment, I have used recycled Ikea fabric to create my collection.
