Illustrations for Soupbone's first issue

The Soupbone Collective is made up of a group of individuals with shared interests in the humanities, yet we work in our own capacities and at our own paces. "This collective is founded on the premise that an extended support system of people to live alongside, with admiration and care, fosters creative and innovative thinking." I illustrated some hand-drawn sketches for our first issue on 'Identity' (Spring, 2020). Visit us! at https://soupbonecollective.com/

An extract from the spring issue:

Perhaps this is a train of thought that I’ve been carrying for two years now, yet it continues. Time. How the time of one’s life criss-crosses into the trajectories of others; the idea that you happen to come across something—a book, a painting, a person—at the perfect time. (Ironically, I’m listening to a song whilst writing this that repeats, “I guess I’ll see you next lifetime.”)
