These printed & embroidered fabrics are inspired by an account of a journey 3000ft deep into the sea and the formation and fragmentation of lines, shapes and colors at different depths. The abstracted prints originate from ink drawings and paintings and the unisex garment shapes derive from a form that envelopes the body, while still remaining loose to move around in.
Embroidered Wave Print: A comfortably slouchy jacket with full length tapered sleeves, a wrap-around front and a paneled back. The fabric is herringbone twill with an embroidered print. Lined in black and tied.
Abstracted Deep Sea Print:
A relaxed fit jacket with an overlapping front and wide cuffed sleeves. The fabric is a digitally printed herringbone twill with loops of metallic zig zag embroidery and a textured black back. Finished with a light grey satin lining and tied with a leather belt.
