In Five: Come Design With Me

  • Martin Shaffu

The template for this project entitled “In Five” showcases collections that are five designs long. The first of its kind that I took on revolves around five restaurants in London that I have dined in and their logos that I rebranded.

Aphrodite Taverna - Layout No. 1

A Greek-Cypriot restaurant named after the goddess of love.
Aphrodite Taverna - Layout No. 2
Kipferl - Concept No.1 (Colours derived from current restaurant branding)

An Austrian restaurant named after a crescent shaped bread roll, which is reflected in this design.
Kipferl - Concept No. 2 (Colours derived from the kipferl pastry treat)
La Patagonia

An Argentinian restaurant named after a region that lies south of the continent. I combined the motif pattern with the use of a slab serif typeface to form a cool Argentine steakhouse theme
Ma Petite Jamaica

I took inspiration from the national flag and added a culinary twist to the golden cross.
Masgouf

This Iraqi Restaurant is named after the country’s national dish, which is a freshwater fish split open and slow cooked by a large fire in an open-air area.
