INTERFUSE; Collaborative Exhibition Series

I’ve always been a passionate advocate for the role that art can play in bringing people and communities together. As a student, I was struck by a longstanding rivalry between Northumbria & Newcastle Universities. I decided to turn this view on its head by founding, and securing funding for a public exhibition series with a fellow Fine Art student from Northumbria. The driving force behind the concept was to enable other students to practise exhibiting in public spaces alongside other artists and open up opportunities for collaboration, ahead of the EOY degree show. The series was so successful it was adopted by students from the year below and continued after we graduated.
