What is graphic communication?
Graphic Communication is a practice difficult to define, therefore we decided to create our degree show campaign around a this theme creating a Q/A dialogue that involved us as a course, design practicians and our audience in a debate on what is graphic communication and what is that makes it different.
Working closely within a team of course mates and lecturer we created a campaign to promote the Graphic Communication course at Norwich University of the Arts class-2015 in the D&AD New Blood event in Spitalfield Market and our degree show in Norwich.
To found the campaign William Thomas (Project manager) created a Kickstarter page where pledge such as various merchandise of the exhibition and a series of limited silk-screen poster designed by leading UK designer where available for purchase.
The space design, merchandise and identity has been designed art directed by Andrew Heirons (Art director) with my support. Within the presence at D&AD different media have been developed to showcase our course work such as MACS for our digital platform is-it-it-is.co.uk built by Michel Grimshaw (Online & Interactive) and our publication.
The whole debate was powered by our hashtag #itis on both instagram and twitter creating a brand awareness that spread around New Blood and the web.
