How can a pursuit be represented through typography? This is a typographic response to ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ a study written by Howard Mumford Jones. It highlights how the phrase itself has been manipulated and misunderstood since the 1776 independence. This non linear typographic form and layout represents the pursuit itself of this fruitless happiness and takes the user on a frustrating and impossible journey.

This project was awarded a pass from the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD).
