A huge thank you to Leeds Beckett University and Peter Mills for granting me the opportunity to visit ITV Studios! ⭐️ This experience was truly unforgettable! Getting a behind-the-scenes look at ITV Yorkshire was both inspiring and insightful. Thank you to the ITV Academy for hosting such a fantastic event. A special thanks to Laura Scougall, Sonny Hanley and Keisha Agnew for making it all happen! A standout moment of the visit was watching Kerrie Gosney present the weather for ITV Calendar News! It taught me so much about the industry, particularly the precision and skill required for live broadcasting. As a freelance journalist and content creator myself, I also really enjoyed learning from the digital teams - particularly by speaking to Tasmin Mycock and Matt Harland from the Social Media team. Seeing how they work across different platforms to engage audiences was both eye-opening and valuable! This experience has only strengthened my excitement for the industry, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!
