James graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts with a First Class Masters of Fine Arts degree.
James previously represented New Zealand at Photoquai at the Musee du quai Branly in Paris, and has an extensive list of solo and group exhibitions in New Zealand and part of Photo Festivals around the world.
With an extensive list of clientele he regularly works with including such top fashion labels as Top Shop, Karen Walker, Lonely, Samsung, Huawei, Adidas and New Balance. James has spent time in Asia working on exhibitions, and has worked in USA and Europe for the likes of Adobe Max and Les Mills International.
