Japan Cash Machinery Co Ltd, also known as JCM Global, reported net income of about 3.28 billion yen (US$21.1 million) in the 12 months to March 31. Those profits were up 4.3% year-over-year, it said in an earnings report released on Thursday.

JCM, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, is a company that manufactures printers for casino game consoles and other gaming hardware-related devices as well as machines that verify banknotes and handle currency.

The company posted full-year net sales of 31.61 billion yen, up 25.1% year-on-year.

Operating profit for the period was just below 2.84 billion yen, up 356.4% from a year earlier.

JCM announced a dividend of 19.0 yen per share at the end of its fiscal year. The median dividend was 7.0 yen each, with a total dividend of 26.0 yen per share for the 12 months ended March 31 this year. The total dividend per share for the previous fiscal year was 10.0 yen.

During the reporting period, the group's global gaming business revenue was slightly below 17.28 billion yen, up 18.5% from a year earlier, while its segment profit was slightly above 2.79 billion yen, up 69.8% from a year ago. The company said the "difficulty" in securing electronic components for its products, which lasted in the first half of the group's fiscal year, was "nearly resolved in the second half," bolstering sales growth in its gaming division.

On Thursday, JCM said it expects net sales of 35.1 billion yen in the 12 months to March 31, 2025. The company expects an operating profit of 3.44 billion yen and an annual net profit of 2.66 billion yen.

Last year, JCM said it was targeting net sales of 38.55 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2026 as part of the group's mid-term management plan through 2032.
