Joint Security Area - South Korean Movie Poster

I've wanted to create designs based on the many Korean movies I've watched over the years. First I thought of just creating a simple illustration from a particular scene, but as I feel Korean cinema needs to be experienced by many, I wanted to create pieces that may spark someones interest. So after a few scribbles and experimentation, I felt a minimalist sort of poster style would be a good fit. South Korea continues to push out some extraordinary films, and I want people experience and enjoy them I have. So here I have began my homage with 'Joint Security Area' (JSA). I'm sure my next poster of a Park Chan-Wook film isn't far away as the guy has produced some phenomenal movies. It took my a while to get around to Joint Security Area and it's a film I wished I watched sooner as it caught me completely by surprise! Sorry for the jibberish, I'm no film critic. Enjoy!
