Juneteenth - A day to learn, unlearn and take positive action.

  • Bella Owen

Tomorrow is Juneteenth (or Freedom Day) - commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Although the day is a celebration, we recognise that achieving real equality is an ongoing challenge, not only in the US but here in the UK and globally. And it’s one we all need to work on. So tomorrow, our agency will be standing in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and dedicating the entire day to learning, unlearning, reflecting and taking positive action. We have created a Resource Hub to help our people (and anyone else) improve their understanding of how to become anti-racist. Please feel free to use and share it as much as you like. Of course, this is not enough. But it is a start. And over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to take positive actions to combat racial inequality in our workplace, in our work and in the world.

In order to further demonstrate our comitment to the BLM movement and creating a more diverse and representaive work force we create a logo to be added permanantley to our automatised email signature. When one sends an email both internally and externally (to clients) the BLM logo is displayed alongside the agency logo symbolising standing in solidarity with the movement.
