KARMA

KARMA I am going to produce one-off 5 short films concerning the themes such as racism, LGBTQ, Equality and Global Warming. I know that these are trending topics only I will depict this critically. I'm going to do this using Animation - Stop Motion film. The overall name of the project is called Karma. That is also the name of the first film. The four sub movies have the following titles: 1. L stands for Love 2. O stands for One 3. V stands for Voice 4. E stands for Ethics The movies separately last no longer than 5 minutes each which makes 25 minutes in total. The starting point is to make them all in the same amount of time. The soundtrack is composed especially for each film, the scores of the whole series fit together. That ultimate one song is called KARMA, for the final video.The entire project will be filmed as a love story in an innovative way. That is, the frame, the position of the camera, the images, the text. Everything in this movie is different, that’s key to tell the story. It is a reflection of how society is yet completely surreal. I want to wake up the viewer, in a subtle way. I use existing repainted and remodelled dolls that I have refurbished in such a way that the story can be clearly told. There is 1 leading role and that is a singer, she tells/sings the story, she is the core of the series.
